1. Information We Collect

When you use DooService, we collect the following information:

  • Account information: name, email address, and authentication credentials
  • Usage data: instance configurations, addon installations, deployment history, and resource usage metrics
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and access logs
  • OAuth data: when connecting GitHub, we receive your username, avatar, and repository access as authorized by you

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process billing and manage your subscription (through Culqi)
  • Send service-related notifications (instance status, deployment results, etc.)
  • Provide customer support and technical assistance
  • Monitor and prevent abuse of the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled by Culqi S.A., a regulated and authorized payment platform in Peru. When you subscribe to a paid plan, Culqi collects and processes your payment information directly. DooService does not store, process, or have access to your credit card numbers or payment data.

4. Data Storage and Location

Your instance data (databases, files, backups, addons) is stored on servers located in Europe (Hetzner and OVH data centers). Your account data is stored in our PocketBase authentication service.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), isolated container environments, and access controls.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account cancellation:

  • Instance data (databases, files, backups, addons) is retained for 7 days, then permanently deleted
  • Account information is deleted within 30 days after cancellation
  • Aggregated and anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Culqi — payment processing and billing
  • GitHub — OAuth authentication and repository access (only when you connect your account)
  • Hetzner / OVH — server infrastructure and hosting

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

7. Your Rights

In accordance with Law No. 29733, Personal Data Protection Law of Peru, you have the right to:

  • Access: request information about the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate personal data (you can update your name from Settings)
  • Cancellation: delete your account and associated data (contact support)
  • Opposition: object to the processing of your data for certain purposes
  • Export: export your instance data using the backup feature at any time
  • Disconnect third-party integrations (GitHub) from Settings

8. Cookies

DooService uses only essential cookies necessary for the operation of the Service:

  • Authentication session cookies (to keep you logged in)
  • Theme preference (light/dark mode)

We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

DooService is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
