Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all digital hosting services provided by API SERVICE S.A.C. (trade name: API SERVICE, RUC: 20613252844) through the DooService platform. It covers all subscription plans and add-ons purchased through the DooService Dashboard.
DooService is a digital service (cloud hosting for Odoo ERP instances). As such, there are no physical products, shipping, or delivery logistics involved. Service activation is immediate upon payment confirmation.
2. Conditions for Refunds
Eligibility
- You have 7 calendar days from the date of your first subscription payment to request a full refund.
- The service must not have been extensively used, defined as: more than 3 instances created or more than 5 GB of storage consumed during the refund period.
Not Eligible for Refund
- Auto-renewal charges that have already been processed (you may cancel future renewals at any time from the Billing section)
- The Free plan (no charge is made)
- Storage add-ons once they have been activated and allocated to your account
Plan Changes
- Upgrades: you may upgrade your plan at any time. The cost difference is pro-rated for the remainder of your current billing period.
- Downgrades: plan downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refund is issued for the remaining days on the higher plan.
3. Process to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Send an email to soporte@apiservicesac.com with the subject line "Refund Request".

Include the following information in your email:
- The email address associated with your DooService account
- The reason for requesting a refund
- Payment confirmation or receipt (transaction ID, date, and amount)
- Our support team will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
4. Refund Options
Within the 7-Day Refund Period
If your request meets the eligibility criteria, you will receive a full refund to the original payment card used for the purchase. Refunds are processed through Culqi and typically take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
After the 7-Day Refund Period
- You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refund will be issued for the current billing period.
- Your service will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- After your subscription ends, instance data (databases, files, backups, addons) is retained for 7 days, then permanently deleted.
Alternative: Plan Switch
Instead of a refund, you may choose to switch to a different plan. If you switch to a lower-cost plan, a pro-rated adjustment will be applied as credit toward your next billing cycle.
5. Associated Costs
DooService is a digital service. There are no shipping costs, return costs, or restocking fees. Refunds are processed directly through Culqi S.A. to the original payment method at no additional cost to the customer.
6. Exceptions and Guarantees
Service Outages
If DooService experiences a service outage that exceeds the committed uptime in our Service Level Agreement (SLA), affected users are entitled to a proportional refund or service credits for the period of unavailability. Contact support with details of the outage to initiate a claim.
Billing Errors
In the event of a billing error (duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or unauthorized charges), you will receive a full refund of the erroneous amount. Billing error refunds are processed within 5 business days of confirmation.
Satisfaction Guarantee
We recommend taking advantage of the 7-day free trial with Starter plan features before committing to a paid subscription. The trial allows you to fully evaluate the Service without providing payment information. No automatic charges are made at the end of the trial.
